Touching the Ancient One

    David J. Pitkin of Chestertown, NY, author of Ghosts of the Northeast and other books, has given Touching the Ancient One a nice review on Amazon.com. I’ve known Dave a long time and respect his considerable literary skills, as well as his opinion. I take pride in sharing the review with you.
    A few friends have told me I should be more aggressive in telling people about my book. Since the inception of this website, I’ve balanced the content so that it’s not just an advertising tool to promote my book, but also a way to expand on the larger themes in Touching. That balance is important to me.
    Nevertheless, some really great things have been said about the book that I’d like people to see, especially newcomers to the site. I’ve already shared some of the reviews and comments—but then they got buried in the depths of journal entries where they might never be seen again unless I take action to prevent that happening.
    Therefore, I’m setting up a page that can be accessed from the sidebar on the right. That page will contain all the comments about the book that have come through the journal comments, through private messages, and through more formal reviews. It will be arranged so that the latest will appear at the top. Some of the private comments will have no names attached because the writers did not tell me I could do so.
